Musselstranden

Again another one I read a few years ago. Its an interesting story... well, in a way two stories interwined. One is about an isolated, hermit-like woman who lives alone in the country and enjoys going out in her kajek. The other part is told by a woman looking back on her childhood - again the Swedish summer holiday on the coast. Her parents had adopted a little mute Indian child who went missing that summer.
I've just been reading the back blurb. It says Ulrika goes back to the place of her childhood summer holidays with her own children, and her two boys make a terrifying find... I think it was the body.
It's a good mystery read. In Swedish though - so sorry if you want to borrow but don't speak the language.

Passed this one on to a friend who speaks Swedish - for her to read or pass on to a student. So it's off up to Edinburgh and a tiny bit less clutter here!!!
