Fabulous book, written from the perspective of two women - a young girl falling in love with her first boyfriend and a slightly older girl who falls for the same guy. Written by 2 authors, one for each of the female characters and consequently two very distinctive voices.

BUT it is so much more than that! It is set in the 60s music scene, it evokes the era perfectly. For those that actually remember the 60s and 70s - the time before most ordinary families didn’t even own a telephone- long forgotten memories will come flooding back! For those that are too young to remember you are in for a treat, this book captures the age perfectly.

Picked up at the Bookcrossing meet today, for a relative to read. Christina Jones was at the meet up today too, a very nice lady.

My mother in law took this on holiday to Lake Como a few weeks ago. I'd picked it up at the meet thinking she would she enjoy the story, and she said she did.
