Being a big fan of Bujold's Vorkosigan series, I had high hopes for this book. Alas, I was disappointed, to the point that I haven't bothered with the rest of the books in this series. Perhaps my expectations were simply too high, and hopefully it can find a more receptive audience in the wild

i got a hold of the book at Punjabi Dhaba, Inman Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts USA, and was really amused/amazed at the idea of a travelling book. what a cool concept! However, I am not at all impressed with it. the story doesnt build up well, the writing is really poor and i am sure it will be travelling away from me VERY soon.
