The Prodigal Daughter

I loved Jeffrey Archer so much that I had to buy all his other books, so I ended up with this one. As a rehash from his previous and truly wonderful Kane and Abel, and pretty much the same story focusing on a woman this time, that goes of course, all the way from the bottom to the top of her career as in all other books of J.A., I was a little bit fed up with the similarities, but if you did not read any of the other books, you probably will enjoy it very much. It is a very good story and the characters are moving and very real. It has a lot of old times chivalry and what I personally enjoy very much: detailed accounts on how the hero makes money, succeds in politics, etc. not just a general overview, but the small details. There is the usual worshipping friend, the hero and the family of the hero which of course makes you envious and wanting to have one like that of your own. The usual. I will release this book tonight at Nelsons.
