This is one of the books in the "Minack Chronicles" A story of two very sophisticated people how leave their coseted life in London to take up residence in a run down cottage in Cornwall,they start off by trying to grow potatoes, but end up with a beautifull daffodill farm,and inbetween they both find time to write, Derrick about every day life at "Minack" and Jennie, about her time as p.r. at the top London hoteles.Jennie died in 1986, and Derrick died a few years ago, but before he died I was invited to his home, as a very loyal fan.It was great to see Minack for myself and I was not disapointed...
