Marvellous account of someone taking over a farm in the heart of Andalucia, and their various adventures, with the landscape, the language and the locals. Speaking about his experience of eating his first freshly new-laid egg, he recounts, 'Unfortunately, as I was eating the egg, a stoat or a weasel was eating the chickens. And it was not very many weeks later that first the guinea-fowl and then the pigeons went the way of the others.'
Given to Chris to while away his journey to the Maldives.

This book was given to me by a friend in Leeds who introduced me to Book Crossing. I read the book whilst flying out to the Maldives. I left the book at Cocoa Island which appropriate as the book is about a sunny place too!
