Magician's Gambit (The Belgariad, Book 3)
2 journalers for this copy...
Book 3 of the Belgariad, purchased at Citylight Books in London, ON. The story's progressing and getting more interesting. The secondary underlying story is also starting to come out more, but I feel that the books are still fundamentally aimed at a younger audience, and while still enjoyable, aren't as good to read at an older age.
Mailed off to the very generous bookcrossing user BMVCOE yesterday.
Interesting comments by Fuzz-ball. Maybe this will be good to keep around for my classroom after I'm done reading. Thanks for sending the book along!
Still more of the same trend as the first two. I was a bit thrown off by the random segments of the book from Ce'Nedra's point of view; I'm not sure what they were trying to accomplish. If they were trying to make me see her more sympathetically, I'm afraid they weren't very successful--I still think she's annoying, even though I know what her part is going to be in all this. The plot is at least interesting enough for me to look for the final two books in the series; hopefully the library will have them.
