128pp. Ex library with light distinctions. Occasional soiling. Neat, tight and strong copy. In III Fares The Land, Susan George expands upon the subjects of food, hunger and power raised in her earlier books. As Dr. George points out, "visible famine is once again pushing the issues of hunger and underdevelopment into the forefront of public consciousness. It's not that hunger had ever one away - it had merely receded from the television screen, due to the mporary absence of victims spectacular enough to photograph.

Wow, this was quite impressive. This Susan George is quite a powerhouse. Reading her book gave me a thourough understanding of the powers at work in the hunger crisis. I also noticed a few suggestions later elaborated in her "Lugano Project". Thank you again, Rivercassini, I value this book very much!

I lent this book to one of my best friends, the one who is at my side exploring the world we would actually want to live in. Sadly he hasn't journalled. I am glad the book is home.
