Blood on the Sun (CSI: New York)
3 journalers for this copy...

Dark like the series. I find those better written than the CSI Vegas or Miami ones.

Mailed to AgnesXNitt on October 25th, 2006.

Received yesterday (7/11/06) in the post - yay! More CSI! More!
Thanks for the trade Tamsine, I look forward to reading this one on my outpost at Reception at work - "Sorry, you can't come in - I'm mid-homicide!"!!

Blimey! Well, despite having no previous knowledge of this particular group of CSI (I'm more LV and Miami based myself!) I did really enjoy this. Which is a strange thing to say about a book that contains an fundamentalist religious group, a triple homicide and two men who appear to have been crucified *after* they have been shot - execution style. However, I did enjoy it and will be lending to my Dad as he watches all three CSI teams (though it's not his usual style of book)!

Another headslap delivered for not journalling this one... though I'm sure I would have as I journalled the other Kaminsky you gave me at the same time *hmmm*
Anyway, I have to say this has changed my opinion of Kaminsky and I'll certainly keep an eye out for his other work after reading this. I enjoyed it far more than "Dead of Winter" (though I'll admit there is the slightest possibility that this is simply because my favourite character gets more page time in "Blood on the Sun") and I think it better represents the grittiness of the show.
