Literary, quality chick-lit from the Canadian master, Margaret Atwood.
The ISBN may be identical, but the BookCrossing picture of the cover is not from exactly the same edition as this one. This is the 1994 Virago paperback. It features a black-and-white party mask on the cover with cut-out eyes, and human eyes behind are staring out; opening the first layer of the cover reveals the owner of the eyes, a sultry noir seductress with pouting lips.

I sometimes teach English to people in different organisations around Helsinki. I had three bookcrossing books to offer as prizes at the end of a language game. This was one of them. The date was 18th December 2006.
