This is a second copy of ours of this book. Here is my 9 year old son's review for the original:
One day a boy who lived in the hills found a dog and named him Shiloh. He made a pen and kept him in it and sometimes he let him out. He fed him leftovers to eat. One day when the boy was going to bed some bigger dogs came and hurt him badly.
I really liked this book a lot.
I bought this copy at a second hand store for my son's classroom.
