Apologies birmingham-rose: so many copies of this have been through my hands (from the same source as this one) that I didn't realise the one I decided to keep had not been caught. I associate this with the Coventry City Council wellbeing days, since we always seemed to have so many copies around on those, but I did finally read it earlier this year. If the idea that anyone could get emotional about maths, of all things, is something you really cannot believe then you eithher need to give up on this book now - because it's central premise is untenable in your world - or start reading straight away so you can find out what it's like. How's that for giving you permission to do what you like next/

I picked this up at Jury's Inn Hotel, at the Swindon Unconvention, because the idea of a book about love and maths quite fascinated me.
