In the mail.
Just arrived home from a few days in Melbourne for work and the mailbox was full with book parcels - magic
I took this one with me on holidays to the Gold Coast, I started it on the plane on the way up and finished the book that night. Once I started it there was no way I could put it down. I really enjoyed this book and it was a great read for holidays.
I had a good week with the family - visited the Seaworld, movie world and wet n wild; had a jet boat and helicopter ride, swam in the surf and in the pool, had a few spas and saunas - but now it is back to reality. I'm avoiding housework by bookcrossing instead :-)

This was a really good book and I enjoyed it a lot. The story of the journalist documenting the expedition and feeling like an outsider, the voyage through the desolate sea, the characters of the men on the boat and on the islands, the solitude and lack of privacy, the landing on Antarctica itself...it all came together in a well told story that had you hooked from the very beginning. Very much recommended! I intend to put this into the Oceania/Island bookbox when it comes back round.
This book is going over the border to a new home as part of my 'wild book captured' rabck. I hope you will enjoy this book as much as I did!
Popped through the letterbox this morning and nearly hit the cat! I've never read anything by this writer before but it looks very interesting.
Thank you so much chuckles. x x x x

I tried to get into this book and found it wasn't my cup of tea. Passed it onto Bookcloud this morning because her taste in reading is very different to mine. Hope she enjoys it.
Thanks sis. I'll get around to this one sometime xx
Tried 2 - 3 times but nope......couldn't get into it. Sorry.
Still can't get into this so it's off on a journey
