Though humans cannot speak cat, they vocalise repeatedly. Most of their vocalisations are meaningless and can be completely ignored. In urban areas, fun can be got from hunting human objects such as mink stoles or old underpants. For some reason this kind of prey is usually greeted with human laughter. To get a male human off an armchair, jump on the back of it, hold down his head with a firm paw and lick his bald patch. Purring right into the ear is one of the kindest ways to tell a human being that it is time to get out of bed.

I just had to grab this book from the book buffet - not only is it about cats, but it's lovely and small so will be able to sneak into a spare corner of my suitcase so I can take it on my travels and release it somewhere exciting :-)

Ey! I caught this book in the bookcrossing meeting in Bilbao and as I'm living in Cork now, I'll release it here. It was a great coincidence that during my holidays in Bilbao I could meet FutureCat!! It was lovely to know you. Who knows... perhaps we'll meet again... in New Zealand!! ^_^

I've begun to read the book and it's so funny! And as a friend says... so true!! ;-)
