There has been much happy dancing in my house since the post-man came this morning...received this book and 'Coldfire' from BC BF rockratgirl in Sheffield. Looking forward to a weekend of wallowing in books, thanks sweetie!

Update 2/01/05

Hey hey, just the two years between journal entries then...I think that's a personal worst! Ye gods, no wonder one of my NY resolutions is to try and whittle the BC TBR mountain down to size a bit!

After all that, this book wasn't really to my taste, although it made an interesting companion piece to 'The Hours' when I watched it last year. Definitely time for it to go travelling again and hopefully score a more appreciative reader this time!

Thanks again for the opportunity to have a crack at this Sam...hope you're having a good 2005! :O)

Update 7/1/05

Not snapped up at the Meet, but when I offered it up on BCUK Tehuti showed an interest in reading it at some point, so it'll be headed out shortly. Hope you enjoy it, Krys. :O)

I was bewildered by "Orlando" and "The Waves", both of which I read when attempting to show off in the fourth form LOL!, and I absolutely loved "A Room of One's Own", which I read while yearning for freedom and financial independence in the 1980s. I guess it's about time to revisit Virginia Woolfe again; I wonder what I will make of this book?
