This is my current read, December 2022
This subject matter is making me sad! I can't even begin to imagine being yanked out of my home to live with a stranger, even a relative The dad is an obnoxious ignorant know-it-all nit-picking insulting control freak - and I'm only on page 42 ha ha
The author nailed it with the dialog, characters and scenes! So far, I'm enjoying the book

12/12/22 I finished reading this It's an older book, before everyone had a cellphone etc but I like reading old-timey stories! I would have made a different decision than she but I liked the story and I have a lot in common with the girl

NOTE - I added book to a box that I will give away when it's full
