This is the only Iris Murdoch book I have read and I thought it was brilliant. I couldn't put it down!

I found the book in the bathroom of a restarant then found a friend had left it! I wanted to read something of Iris Murdoch's so I kept it. It took a while for me to get around to reading it but I then had a few journeys by train so took it with me. I enjoyed it, perhaps not enough to rush out and buy any more, but it's a story about people and I like that type of novel i found it a little dated but then it's a novel of it's time. I have now set it free at JFK airport in New York New York!
