I bought this book while I was in New York last week. I found myself to be very interested in the history of this city, it is somewhat curious that there is no central museum that is truly dedicated to the story of New York (such as the Museum of London). I am still reading this book but enjoyed reading about the settings and locations while I was actually residing in the area of Dutch Manhattan (Tribeca). A good book, highly recommended.
