In The Shadow Of The Ark

Looking forward to reading this after seeing the author on the PBS series, "Bill Moyers on Faith".
Interesting book. I always enjoy a book whose characters dare to ask challenging, thought-provoking questions. Some of the characters were a bit repulsive though - or perhaps it was the gross descriptions of their skin problems...ick.... I guess I didn't quite get the whole dwarf thing, either. Perhaps I'm missing some of the symbolism.
Sending it off to another BCer as part of a trade.

Received today in the mail - thanks for the trade!
I, too, am having a hard time figuring out if I liked this book or not.
It was a neat story, but I'm not sure about how I feel about sharing this book with other Christians. It seems too racy for religious fiction - to me.
It was an interesting take on how the building of the ark may have happened though - I haven't ever really thought much about that side of things.
Thanks for sharing it!
