Tony Giodone made his living as an assassin -- until one of his marks ripped his throat out and turned him into a werewolf. Now he's the best hired killer there is.
When a curvy woman in an expensive suit tries to hire him to kill her, his wolf senses insist that she is his mate. One kidnapping, a plethora of gunfights, a psychic coma, and two faked deaths later, Tony and Sue have new identities and are hiding in a community of Sazi shapeshifters.
Now Tony is getting flashes of other peoples' lives. He doesn't know if they're memories or fantasies, but he wants it to stop, because he's learning things he shouldn't about his friends and neighbors.
What's more dangerous than a psychic-powered werewolf assassin? Whatever it is, it's kidnapping and killing female Sazi ... after it sucks out their powers. It's up to Tony to save all of the Sazi.

9/8/06 I enjoyed #1 in this series, Hunter's Moon, much more than this second book. I found the plot *very* disjointed and confusing. But maybe it's me.
Thanks very much for sending it to me.

Tony and Sue are now living in Chicago, under new identities following the events of Hunter's Moon, the first book in the Sazi series. Tony learns of a few new skills he possesses, specifically hindsight, gifts of the seer, and now he's having flashbacks every time he touches someone. While learning to use his new gifts, he's also been assigned the task of helping to locate a Sazi that's abducting and murdering some of the Sazi women. Which means his Sue could be the next victim!
I enjoyed the action, and as usual, any romance in the story didn't overshadow the action, but served only to endear the characters to the reader.
This will be headed to SandDanz shortly and I'll update this entry with the relevant information when it does.
