WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
off to the first reader!
off to the first reader!
This book arrived today (along with 2 other bookrings). I will get to it soon, it looks like a good book. I love to watch Trinny and Susannah! Thanks for sharing
What I learned was that I need to throw out nearly everything in my closet and start over. Too bad I can't afford to do that! This will be a slow process for me-buy one piece of clothing at a time. I would like to have more, like how to find the correct size and more about jewelry and other accessories.
I have pm'd bookpatch for her address.

Received and read today.
Trinny & Susannah offer lots of good advice on how to disguise figure flaws, including fansastic "before & after pictures" that are truly worth a thousand words--although I wouldn't have minded a little more text. I agree with southernfryed that more advice on accessories would also have been welcome.
My favorite quote: "Once you really understand what not to wear, the path to chicdom becomes a piece of cake"

Mailed today to dancing-dog. Will be interested to hear your report!
This came in the mail last night with some other books from bookpatch :=D ... browsed it this morning over breakfast - it will be fun to see how far off the mark I am!
Oh, this was fun to read or maybe I should say view since it was mostly pictures! I see I am doing some things right but of course still need much improvement.
I found the use of food analogies for what you might look like in certain styles very amusing - breasts that look like lumpy custard and arms like sausages. For some of us, food is the very reason why we must resort to clothing as camouflage in the first place.
It's interesting that Trinny & Susannah do differ somewhat in their advice from their American counterparts Stacey & Clinton. I can't say I've ever seen anyone in the US wearing a dress over pants & I'm thinking that might not work well in the warmer regions here.
Yes, I too agree that a little more on accessories would be nice, especially hair and make-up which wasn't mentioned at all. LOL, I really need help with hair!
Thanks for sharing it - very enjoyable and I think a mini shopping trip is now in order! :=D

Ok, I just had to tell everyone this! -
I had a dream last night that I was picked for What Not To Wear and I was in a store buying clothes with my $5,000 credit card (so it must have been the US version). I found lots of stuff that looked good and fit the rules and I didn't worry about the prices. I got to the check out counter to pay and discovered that my purchases added up to $5,690 (I remember that number very specifically!), so I was over the $5,000 on the card. I didn't know what to do and then I woke up!
LOL.... What do you think this means?

Dancing-dog, I think it means you should treat yourself to a shopping spree! Hee hee!
received in the mail today. #2 on my TBR list (unless i cant control myself and read it tonight, which is likely).
things i have learned from this book:
1. i have the same body type as trinny.
2. big tush = no A-line skirt, saddlebags = yes A-line skirt. apparently you cant have both, so i am choosing to accept my butt as normal sized, focus on my thighs, and keep all my A-line skirts!
3. all clothes will look bad on you if you pout and slouch in the picture.
4. skirt over pants is acceptable! i am vindicated!
5. it seems that since i have small breasts, i can wear a see-thru shirt with no bra and show my nipples (!?!?!?!?!)
had to give this one a 10, i love these women, they are hysterical.
to be mailed to hunnyb in a day or two.

A funny book with lots of good advice, but a little short: I'd like to know Trinny and Susannah's views about handbags and belts. I want to go shopping, but my credit card says no...
This will be travelling again soon, spreading good advice and fighting the sisterhood of the cropped pants.
Traveling again to:
