Very funny tales of southern US living.

I bought this book in a small 'ma and 'pa' bookshop in New Iberia in Louisiana, during my 'Grand Southern States Tour' with my dear friend in March 2002. We set off from St Louis, MO and headed south. We had booked four nights in New Orleans then simply went where the mood took us - for four delighful weeks of fun, friendship and adventure. We switched onto 'southern time' - no clock watching, no calendar watching and took the time wherever we went to stop and talk to the people we met along the way. if we got lost somedays, then we found another way, or if all else failed, revised our 'plan' and went to where we ended up instead of our intended destination. :-)
