The Mummy or Ramses the Damned

I actually really enjoyed this book - unlike other Rice novels, it doesn't deal with vampires, nor is it poorly edited. Instead, the main supernatural character is simply immortal, and is kind of a fascinating guy, the sort you'd like to spend an evening with, just chatting or playing pool or something otherwise engaging. It's also a fairly good read, although the ending leaves much to be desired. (Cliffhanger much, Anne?)
