I first read this when it came out in the 70's, and thirty years have not diminished my affection for the story and its characters. I think I have appreciated it even more now since we have our own bunny. That's him in the picture, handsome fellow, isn't he? :-)

I read and enjoyed Plague Dogs, by the same author, so this caught my eye. I am taking it from the bookbox.

I really enjoyed this book, and I thought it was a lot easier to read, language-wise as well as emotionally than Plague Dogs, which was also a good book. Thanks for sharing it, bookpatch!
