I love everything by Carol O'Connell, so, i'd love to share this one.
A book about a lot of things. Chronologically it follows Killing Critics in which 'Mallory' has turned in her police badge.
I loved reading it (quite a page turner) - not just because it's a relief to read about an intelligent female main detective character ;) It sort of annoys me that she has to be beautiful as well; maybe I prefer a more plain (ordinary) character like Barbara Havers in the mysteries of Elizabet George. But Mallory is certainly not perfect: she is emotionally damaged by things that happened in her youth - and that play an important role in this book. Is she just ruthless or does she have a heart?
Crimezone.nl appoints The Flight of the Stone Angel as Carol O'Connell's beste boek - and that's the reader's opinion. I have only read Killing Critics (before this one) so I hope the rest of the books wit Mallory won't disappoint me!
I picked this book up at OBCZ-Lef and will try to find a stone angel as a release spot (that may take me some time...).

I _have_ found a perfect release zone for Stone Angel, but I am waiting to see of our Bookcrossing Monopoly team Ouwe gnoepers will get to 'iconoclasm', which means we will have to release a book near a sculpture.
If that won't happen I might release the book there anyway (but the weather has to be good then!) or.. I will use it for my museum challenge and release it in the All Angels exhibition in Museum Catharijneconvent. If I am not a coward, that is ;)
