From the cover -
Her voice brought life to the barren Desert. Her songs made water flow and flowers blossom from the very moment she was born. But even in Paradise there were dreams that could not be fulfilled. And in love with a man who could never be hers, the time had come for Primavera to leave childhood behind...
So when a handsome stranger gifted her with a horse-headed motorcycle, Primavera did the only thing she could. She fled her home in search of the magical city of Elysia, land of carnivals and circuses, of magic and music, where growing old was the only crime. It was the place where her parents, Calliope and Dionisio, her Uncle Rage and his lover, Paul had once been Ecstasia, the highest flying band in the whole high-flying land.
Elysia, where time stood still and any dream that couldn't come true could perhaps be forgotten. Elysia, where Primavera discovered that she'd left behind everything she truly needed, everyone she really cared about - and that if the city had its way, she'd never find her way back home...

Sadly, MaryZee passed suddenly in September 2012. MaryZee's daughter is now ready to rehome her mom's books and I was willing to collect and redistribute them to keep her literary legacy alive.
