Heartbreakingly brilliant.
"This is the extraordinary love story of Clare and Henry who met when Clre was six and Henry was thirty-six, and were married when Clare was twenty-two and Henry thirty. Impossible but true, because Henry suffers from a rare condition where his genetic clock periodically resets and he finds himself pulled suddenly into his past or future. In the face of this force they neither prevent nor control, Henry and Clare's struggle to lead normal lives is both intensely moving and entirely unforgettable."

Journal Entry 8 by Cross-patch from Leicester, Leicestershire United Kingdom on Tuesday, December 26, 2006
Arrived last Thursday, I think. Since then our pc died and I've lost all emails. This is my first day online to make a journal entry and to try to sort out the mess.
Thank you bigcurlyloz for giving me a chance to read this interesting sounding novel and to eirini1 for sending it on. Thank you for sunny Greece postcard - so envious - and I love the stamps!

I finished this clever book a few days ago and am waiting for teuffi's address to send it on. It is one of my top 3 reads of the last 12 months; it kept me thoroughly hooked all the way. What an odd-ball character Henry is! And how do I believe in Clair's acceptance of her fate? - but I do, and that is down to Audrey Niffenegger's meticulous craftmanship. An author to look out for.
7 Feb. After many pms and an ISO in the forums, I (and others) was unable to contact teuffi, the next person had already got a copy so now I am sending on to AndyCap14 in America.

Received in the mail today! I'm really looking forward to reading this as I've heard good things about it. Thanks for turning it into a bookring.
I have another bookring book ahead of this but should be able to start it in a week or two.

The book arrived safely today with a bookmark by Boirina left in the book. I truly am inquisitive about this story. Thank you!

I struggled a little with this story. Thanks anyway for allowing me to take part in this bookring. Teuffi seems so difficult to get hold of - I will pass the book onto someone else if I do not hear from Teuffi.

This book was sent to Teuffi - hope it arrives safely!
I found this book in my mailbox on Wednesday. I am just finishing a book but should be able to give this one a start this weekend. Thank you bigcurlyloz for adding me back on the list and to readingtrix for passing it on - and for the card!
What a great book! Definitely the best I have read in a while!
I loved the concept, the story, the way it was structure, the writing... Got so much into it that I guess if anyone had turned up while I was reading it with weird clothes, I would probably have asked them what year they were coming from! :o)
Absolutely brilliant! Thanks so much bigcurlyloz for sharing this wonderful book!
Bigcurlyloz advised that I can do whatever I see fit with the book so I think I will probably RABCK it.
Thanks again!

This one dumped into my letter-box yesterday, but I didn't have time to register the arrival before now. It is always exciting to get a new book, and this one has been on my wishlist for quite a long time. Thank you, teuffi, for thinking of me! I'll try to read this book as soon as possible. Thanks, once again!
