Me vs. Me
6 journalers for this copy...
Gabby Wolf has pretty much, almost definitely (this close!) come to a decision: She’s trading in Phoenix (nice but uneventful life with boyfriend) for Manhattan (dream job as producer for highly successful news show). Then Cam swoops in and gives her a sparkling engagement ring, making her decision even more impossible: Husband vs. career. Vera Wang wedding dress vs. sexy first-date outfits. Planting roots in Phoenix vs. playing the field in Manhattan...She wishes she didn’t have to decide, that she could have it all.
She never expects her wish to come true.
Suddenly Gabby’s living two lives. Whenever she falls asleep in one, she wakes up in the other. She’s got the best of both worlds – what more could a girl ask for?! Right?

My 145th read of 2006.
An enjoyable read, although not as good as her others. I really liked the concept, and thought the way it was written was done well. Who hasn't been faced with a big decision, only to choose and wonder what would have happened had they chosen differently?
I really liked Gabby, both versions, but was getting really sick of how she let Cam's mom just walk all over her. She really *did* need to grow a backbone; that woman was ridiculous. I would have told her to back off ages ago if I had been faced with something like that.

Going to ramson, who managed to hold onto it in the first ALS of September. :)
This one just popped up in my mailbox a few minutes ago. Adding to the TBR for now. Thanks for sharing!
I am usually underwhelmed by Mlynowski's books and fail to see what all the hype is about. This book is the exception. I really, really liked this one. I hope AM10000 enjoys it was well as its heading her way as Chapter 4 from the relay exchange group.
(There is some water damage on the last 20 or so pages form my cat knocking over a glass of water. The book is still readable and I swear its only water!)

This just arrived today. Thank you so much!! :) And I'm happy to hear it is only water!! :D
eta: I really enjoyed this book, it was a nice different twist on the regular chick lit.

For Catsalive's M-bag
Thanks AM10000.
Light & fluffy & quite entertaining. I was irritated by Gabby's spinelessness when dealing with Cam & his mother, but it was very easy reading.
