What a pleasant surprise indeed!

Hmmmm... I got home from a trip out of town to find this in my mailbox. It was a pleasant surprise, and I assumed at first that it must be a bookring I'd forgotten I'd signed up for and/or hadn't remembered was on its way. But there's no clue to that in the journal entries so now I'm not entirely sure how this ended up on my doorstep. I'm finishing another bookring now while I'm in school full time for my doctorate, but the semester and the book will be finished soon and this will be right there waiting for me (unless this is part of some covert, secret ring with no posted participant list, in which case I'll wait for some divine sign or other clue as to what I'm meant to do with it).

Sorry about the mix-up. The mysterious question is...where is that other book going?

Oh, I feel terrible, I'm cleaning out my office and just came across this and can't believe it's still in my house! The timeline must have gone something like this:
1. Read and thoroughly enjoyed the book. One of my favorite Kingsolver books, she's so great at painting a picture of people's personalities and environments.
2. PM'd Oliphant to get an address to mail it on, but never heard back.
3. Had a baby, a beautiful boy.
4. Three months suddenly pass and I have no idea where the time went.
5. Find the book today, PM'd Sjr1969 who's next in line and will hopefully hear back soon so I can get it in the mail.

So sorry for holding things up, I'm going to try and get this moving ASAP!
