Journal Entry 1 by Mothercat from Christchurch, Canterbury New Zealand on Friday, December 27, 2002
"The year is 1983. The President of the United States is Edward Kennedy. At 7.30 on March 3rd in the Washington Field Office of the FBI, two young agents are sent on a routine investigation to a local hospital. An illegal Greek immigrant informs them of a threat on the President's life, the 1,572nd that year. Marc Andrews, a young Yale graduate, treats the information with scepticism. His colleague thinks it might be wiser to report back to the chief to be on the safe side. By 8.30 that evening, five men know all the details. At 9.30, four of them are dead. Marc Andrews, who needs no more convincing, has just seven days to prevent the certain death of the third of the Kennedys."

This was Jeffrey Archer's second book, written in 1977, so perhaps a little dated now. I plan to release this in the next couple of weeks.
