I bought this paperback from a recycling centre in Helsinki. Even though it has markings on it and a disgusting cover picture.
This is just one of those classics I've been meaning to read.

Like George Orwell's books, this is not a nice book at all, but still a good one. A story about a group of boys who have ended up in an island after a plane crash. At first they seem to have relatively good time, but then the arguments about leadership and fear of unknown beasts began and madness takes over. The book tells us something about the human nature again. A disturbing, but fluently written, easy to read book.
