An extreme animal rights activist is shot by his teenage daughter with a hunting rifle. His neice Willow is the primary character in this story.
I enjoyed Bohjalian's novel Midwives greatly and have to admit this book was a bit of a disappointment for me.
I hope whoever reads it next enjoys it more.
