Neveda Barr's 1st mystery....anna Pigeon is well drafted character for first attempt....I ended up going thru the 218 pgs in couple of days....My partner enjoys Ms Barr's writings and turned me(shoutscout)towards "The Track of the Cat" Good 1st effort!!! Will send this out on book-relay soon,,

It's always nice to meet new female detectives \o/

I'm on holiday and the weather's either too hot or too rainy to get outside. So I take the time to climb my Mt TBR and I picked up this book that had been on my bookshelf for quite a long time /o\

I was delighted to meet Anna. She's a great sleuth, the characters are nice - obviously enough, not the killer ;-)

Three books of the series have been published in French so far but I don't think that the following titles would... What's great about BC is to be able to fulfill my thirst for mysteries (with female detectives in them) !
I can only be proud of my choice of studying in English at university !!! ;-o
