Great fun! One part of the story line certainly took me by surprise, as it affects any future books. I shall leave you guessing! Thank you, Rillaith!

Journal Entry 6 by Rillaith from Wokingham, Berkshire United Kingdom on Tuesday, July 25, 2006
Back safe and sound, will get a quick read in and send it on after collecting the other one on Thursday!

Journal Entry 7 by Rillaith from Wokingham, Berkshire United Kingdom on Wednesday, August 16, 2006
For once, not set in the Cotswolds. James is off in Cyprus and Agatha follows him in hope of fixing things after the events of the last book, and while they're there, they get stuck in the middle of a messy business with some otherEnglish tourists, one of whom is inconsiderate enough to get herself nobbled! Agatha and James find themselves as suspects, and try to roust the real murderer to clear themselves.

Off to Scotsbookie with books 5 and 7.

Book 7 is following these two on a ring organised by Herrgirl, and starting with roughly the same people as this ring.

Updated: I had this book postit-note marked for AnglersRest and didn't double-check before posting... so although I'll be sending book 7 on to Scotsbookie, these two (5 & 6) are going to AnglersRest first as originally planned. I've corrected the list to reflect this! Sorry for the confusion! Good thing I'm the ring organiser and can claim "whim", right? ;)

Popped in the post to Weebly this morning.

Journal Entry 14 by weebly from Hartwell, Northamptonshire United Kingdom on Wednesday, November 22, 2006
Many thanks for this next installment of the life of Agatha Raisin. I was wondering if when books 5 and 6 would arrive - WelshHelen and I wer talking about them when we met for the first leg of 'The Incredible Journey' so I thought it was funny that these would plop on my mat a few days later!

Journal Entry 15 by weebly from Hartwell, Northamptonshire United Kingdom on Saturday, December 2, 2006
I didn't understand why the back cover says Agatha has trouble on a Greek Holiday on the back cover - when they were in Northern/Turkish Cyprus and talk alot about Turkey in the book - I guess the publishing company did not read the book!

It made a good change to be away from the Cotswolds - another fun read - although James is bloody annoying as is Charles - Agatha needs a nice love interest!

Journal Entry 16 by Iojima from Nyons, Rhône-Alpes France on Tuesday, December 19, 2006
Received today, thank you. However, as it appears it's going to be a considerable time before I receive 3 and 4, it will go directly to Candy-is-Dandy.

Journal Entry 17 by candy-is-dandy from Great Bardfield, Essex United Kingdom on Wednesday, January 10, 2007
Received from Iojima with No 5 in the series. Thanks.

As I am rather ring-bound at the moment I am sending this off to the next person on the list and hope to get it back later when I'll hopefully have caught up with earlier books in the series.

Off to CaterinaAnna.

Journal Entry 20 by Caterinaanna from Coventry, West Midlands United Kingdom on Wednesday, March 21, 2007
Arrived late last week (Thursday?) and, bad Bookcrosser as I am at the moment, I didn't journal its safe arrival.

However, being in the midst of several non-fiction rings at the moment, I decided I needed a little escapism and read this and its companion pretty much straight away. As usual, it proved to be fun and a quick and easy read that brightened a dull weekend.

Interesting to see Agatha away from her normal environment in this & to be discussed with my friend LightSmoker who is on her way to Cyprus very soon.

Meanwhile the book will be parcelled up for WelshHelen in my next packing session.

This book arrived with another in the same series (I'll have to check up on order) this morning. Thanks - I was just thinking it's ages since I actually sat down and read a book. I seem to be reading the newspaper, or a magazine, or watching TV, or studying, or working; anything other than actually reading. I guess now I've got a good excuse to take time to sit down and read.

This arrived with another yesterday. I'm looking forward to reading them both!

Good to see Agatha finally getting some self respect, and stop chasing that James Lacey!
