Robin Hobb is an excellent author, and I highly recommend any book that she has written. Royal Assassin is the second book in the Farseer Trilogy. Fitzchivalry is out on his own, and he's just starting to test his skills and limits. This book really begins the journey that will be continued in the third book, Assassin's Quest, as Fitz finds out just how fragile he can be.
