Robin Hobb is an excellant author, and I highly recommend any book that she has written. Golden Fool is the second book in the Tawny Man Trilogy. It's darker than Fool's Errand, and it raises the tension in the series before the final storm of the last book, Fool's Fate. This book is wonderfully done. It has a sophiticated sadness to it that made me want to reach into the book towards the characters.
