Woo hoo! I picked up this book today from the Starbucks in Petro Canada Centre. I'm already a couple of chapters into this novel. I'm looking forward to reading it and releasing it back into the wild. I had checked out both the upstairs and downstairs Starbucks looking for these books The Pelican Brief or The Firm but hadn't seen anything. So I ordered an iced tea at the upstairs Starbucks and asked the lady at the counter if she had had a paperback book turned in. She said she thought so, which one was it? I said it was a John Grisham. She said oh yes The Last Juror it was turned in at the downstairs Starbucks. So I went downstairs and asked, and sure enough they had it behind the counter. I'm glad that I ended up with this book rather than the other Grisham novels as I have already read them. Thanks Bish0p!

This book was more like A Painted House then some of Grisham's other legal thrillers. While the book centered around a murder and the resulting trial, the book was also the story of a Southern town and a young newspaper editor/owner. This wasn't the best book I have every read but the novel was very readable.
Paperback. 486 pages.

I saw the book on the "Go Hunting" page and I hoped the books would still be there. I found this book, left one of my own books and by the time I got home, my book had been journaled by R2! I plan to release it soon.

My mom read the book and she enjoyed reading about the characters and 'goings on' in small town Clanton, Mississippi. :)
