I rec'd this today, in the mail, from BkLvrInVa - thanks so much! I hope to read it this weekend between soccer games.
My sister had recommended this book to me, as we know someone that could be the "real life" counterpart of the character Troy Phelan. I admit I had to laugh at that idea while I was reading the book. (this real life person didn't, however, commit suicide). This is the first John Grisham I have read in years and have to say I enjoyed this book. I loved Grisham when he first started writing and read his first four books as soon as they came out, but then I lost interest. This book held my interest more than I thought it would and provided me with some surprises (things didn't turn out as I had predicted).
Thanks, again, BkLvrInVA for sending this one to me.

I'm sending this onto BC'er "solittletime" today.
Received this book today from the1stof8 along with a lovely postcard showing the Seattle skyline. I have not read a lot of Grisham, but what I've read I have liked, so I'm looking forward to this read. Thanks.
