As part of a Summer shelf-clearing exercise, I'm releasing books I haven't read recently and which other people might enjoy on holiday or lazing in the garden etc.

This isn't my favourite Bill Bryson (that honour probably goes to A Walk in the Woods) but it is a very entertaining way of whiling away a few hours. It might help if you've visited more of the countries he mentions than I have!

Oh dear, an unfortunate misunderstanding! Although I said it would be released at the train station, it's actually at the BUS station - but the reasoning is the same, i.e. it's a place to journey from!

i plan to take it to france and release it- help it on its way round the world.
