Katherine Kurtz is the author of the Deryni series. I like that series a lot (not least because of its Scottish overtones :-) ), and generally I like her other books as well. "St. Patrick's Gargoyle" was enjoyable enough, but I'm not likely to want to reread it, so I'm releasing it in the wild.
