A young pregnant woman heads East fleeing her marriage in California.
Finally got around to reading the book and discovered after two chapters that I don't enjoy reading this book. First, an unrealistic situation in the first chapter involving healing waters turned me off. However, I decided to view the book as some kind of modern fairy tale. Then, the second chapter moved years ahead to the main character, a young woman living in California. I found that I didn't actually like this main character all that much. Since, I have lots of books on my TBR pile, I decide to pass this book on to another bookcrosser who wants the book. Hopefully, she will enjoy the book.
