One of those frustrating books that should have been better than it was. For the first couple of chapters it really didn't grab me at all, and even when I did start to get into the story, every time I started to get absorbed in any way the narrative would suddenly shift and I'd lose interest again. There definitely was potential, but unfortunately it never quite reached it.
