What if mercenaries from 20th century Earth were recruited by aliens to fight on another planet? Sounds daft but is actually a reasonably riveting read as you'd expect, given the author.

Actually despite the age and cover illustration (raven haired beauty? Don't think so) The book not a bad afternoons read. Don't give up on it as its a bit SIMS.....
