I don't usually read thrillers, but this being a psychological thriller, it was by far better than what I was expecting.
Yep, I was getting creeped out it in places, too! There are some very disturbing elements and twists in this story.
Well written. Kept me wondering where the story was going to go.
I found the 'story within the story' interesting too - especially the way the main character critiqued it and how it refected upon her current situation.
My main gripe about the book though, was the fate of Millie. It was very cliched. You could see that one coming a mile off. The author would have been better off dropping that outcome all together.
I have given this to a friend who although is not a BCer, has come with me to some meetups.
I think she will like reading this.

My friend haread it and given it back to me. She enjoyed it, as I thought she would. Though, living alone, she was quite creeped out reading it!
One thing she pointed out - she doubts the author is a fan of cats, as the cat in the book is always referred to as 'it' instead of 'she'. I didn't pick up on that, but yes, I have to agree with her on that.
