This book is ok. Not as good as some of hers. Well written, and I’m interested in the Salem witch trials, but I didn’t like the explanation given for the story. I would have preferred her not to rationalise when in this kind of story the reader automatically suspends disbelief – it wasn’t necessary and it got in the way. I have no idea what I’m going to do with this now.
