Just about the weakest bit of crime/fiction writing I can remember reading. This is a 'Fran Varady Crime Novel' which means there plenty more of the same where this came from, which is a depressing thought considering how poor the writing is. The plot is predictable, and the whole thing reads more like a teen novel, or a 3rd rate afternoon tv serial. Prime suspect this isn't. I couldn't help thinking that even the author was bored writing it...
