Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, is about a family who work realy hard to keep a small piece of farmland that they own. During this time, Racism is a major problem and casues many troubles for the Logan Family. At one point in the book, Cassie Logan, the daughter is humiliated in front of the public just because she has different colored skin. Even through racial discriminationm they have something that nobody can ever take away. The book gives and insght of what it was like to be black in those times.
