Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl
2 journalers for this copy...
I first read this book many years ago, when I was about 11 or 12. One of my teachers gave it to me. I didn't understand much of the book, since I had only a vague knowledge of WW II, but I loved reading something written by another child, and I was able to understand the horrors she was enduring.
Through the years, I have read this book over and over, and as I have grown as a human being, so has my understanding and appreciation of Anne's story. It is one of the books that I treasure.
I am sending this book to another member of BookCrossing to release at the Secret Annex or another appropriate location.
Thank you for sharing this child and her story with the world.

I bought another copy of this book to send to hubrecht in The Netherlands. He has promised to release it at the Secret Annex or another appropriate location. I had intended to send my much loved, personal copy of the book, but I decided that it was too worn to endure the BC life.
I am sending Anne home again-it seemed like a good thing to do.

I received this Diary by mail from TexasWren together with the Tales from the Secret Annex. Plan is to release the Diary in the near future either in Amsterdam in the very location where it was written or, as an alternative in the War Museum in Gouda.
