I grew up with this book. Peter S. Beagle has a way of making the impossible seem possible & the ordinary seem magical. This story is not just a journey written in words, it's one that we all live throughout our lives.

Sitting in Starbucks, sporting my Unicorns Are Glorious t-shirt, I wasn't having a very good day. In fact, I have to admit I was a tiny bit cranky. Talking of disasterous things, deserts, and gas prices can do that to a girl, I suppose. But on my way out the door, I glanced at the condiment bar, and what did I see but "The Last Unicorn!" Oh, kismet! Glancing down at my shirt, I just knew this was fate. Perhaps they called to each other.

I'm sure this book shall bring good forturne and sunny skies, along with some enlightening message within its pages! Or perhaps just a little entertainment on a quiet Tuesday night? Who knows!
