What a nice surprise, a book in Afrikaans - and my colleague, who is half Flamish learned about the boers and that an Afrikaans language exists.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I've read about half of the book, having a lot of fun dechiffering what I didnt understand.

Being in Amsterdam for the Bookconvention is too much of a good occation to give it to someone who might be able to read it, so - - enjoy

Almost finished. After traveling in the USA myself, I do recognize some of what van Heerden writes. Funny, that after so many years, some things are still the same. I enjoyed reading in Afrikaans although I had to think hard for some of the Dutch translations.
